Welcome to the Follies

This blog is established as a test site for now, but eventually may become a full-blown site for shedding light on the idiocies that are found throughout the FAA.
When NATCA changed its President from John Carr to Pat Forrey, it also represented a change in style.
Pat is not the type to point out and humiliate management stupidity. His style is to work with people, even people that he disagrees with, to try and obtain any result he can.
John’s style was to give people a chance, but if they asked for it, he’d unload on them and point out publicly what an idiot they were. He’d name names, too.
As your Ringmaster, I’d like this site to be somewhere in the middle. The incredibly stupid things that the FAA does DO need to be exposed and ridiculed, because sometimes shining the spotlight on them is the only way to change things. At the same time, it doesn’t have to get extremely personal.
So that’s the goal for this site- bring you the truth about the agency, shed light on things that need to be exposed, effect change whenever possible, but perhaps not be totally brutal about it.
I hope you join us. The comment section is open to anyone willing to register. You can register under your own name or an anonymous name if you want; just remember that this site is open to the world and eventually (hopefully) the FAA will read it too.
One thing should be clear- this is NOT a NATCA site. This site is not only not sponsored by the union, but the union and its officials don’t know anything about it- yet. At the same time, the FAA is still allowed to go after people for public statements.
So if you want to talk about a strike, that’s fine with the owners of this site, but if you do it and you sign your name and you work for the FAA, they can and probably will try to go after you for it. So be aware and use caution, but also express your opinions freely.
